At California Riding Academy we love our animals. And we’ve got a bunch of horses and ponies to share with you during our first annual Holiday Party this Sunday, December 16, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. at our new location in Pacifica. Children and adults are all welcome, we’ve got lots of activities scheduled, and you will get the chance to meet all of our wonderful instructors.
We are super excited to share with you our new clubhouse too, where will be hosting all sorts of events including birthday parties, riding seminars, Pony Club, riding camps, and more. One of our newest offerings will be camps designed especially for parents (CDEP), where you can learn all about horses. As an adult, who is either the parent of a horse-crazy kid or who is horse-crazy themselves, join other like adults and engulf yourself in the equestrian world. Why do horses nicker or snort anyway? Come find out!
Mingle with other horse-nutty folks, both young and seasoned. Share stories of your experiences with horses and why they intrigue you. We’ll test the bobbing-for-apples skills of our horses., and have other fun games for the kids to enjoy including our own Jumps For Joy! kid-size jump course! Who is Frontier anyway?
Foremost, come meet and enjoy our lovely horses and ponies. Ask questions about our lesson programs, upcoming camps, or even competitions. It’s a potluck, so bring your favorite side dish. Recommendations include salad, chips-n-dip, cheese and crackers, dessert and/or beverage. Not hungry, just stop by to say hi, but don’t forget to bring some carrots to share with the horses–they really do love them.
Finally, there will be free riding lessons, as well as a camp raffle.
